Vemma Hits $20 Million in Monthly Sales!


Vemma Nutrition Company announced that sales reached $20 million per month in July, a first-ever record for the company. After taking 7 years to reach the $10 million monthly sales mark in July 2012, Vemma has now doubled that to $20 million a month just 12 months later. In addition, Vemma monthly customer and Brand Partner enrollments reached the 30,000 mark for the first time in July. This growth continues to be driven by the $100 million Verve healthy energy drink brand, including the release of Verve Bold this past January, which sparked record-breaking sales and became the most successful product launch in the company's history, selling over 4 million cans in the first 5 months.

Energy drink fans celebrate launch of Vemma's high-energy, low-carb drink.

Scottsdale, AZ— January 31, 2013 — Verve Bold is the latest product to hit the energy drink market, and this one already has a fan club. Thousands of fans and hundreds of Brand Partners gathered Wednesday night at the Verve Lounge in the US Airways Center, home of the Phoenix Suns, to celebrate the launch of Verve Bold, which is packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Vemma Nutrition Company released Verve Bold for pre-order on January 24, 2013, and tens of thousands of cans have sold as of the official launch on Wednesday.
Verve Bold differs from Vemma's original energy drink beverage, Verve, because it has 50% more energy and 70% less sugar. Verve Bold has 120mg of naturally sourced caffeine, no artificial colors or sweeteners, and a low-carb profile. The new energy drink is reported to have a fresh-tasting, tangerine flavor and is sweetened with a proprietary blend of organic cane sugar, xylitol and stevia (yielding only 5g of natural sweeteners per serving).

Verve made a splash at Sundance and will be featured on Entertainment Tonight's Sundance Special airing this week.

Verve made a big splash, helping to keep spirits and energy high during its debut at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival held in Park City, Utah, from January 17–27.
As a sponsor of the Project Green Music Lounge, Verve not only helped support the nonprofit's mission to protect green space for future generations and fund Back-to-Basics Summer Camps for under-served children, but it also energized Sundance attendees, from A-list celebrities and film industry executives, to VIP moviegoers.
Guests of the Project Green Music Lounge and The RE:treat lounge were treated to Verve and Verve Healthy Happy Hour cocktails, as well as a special musical performance by Natalie Gelman. They also received a selection of Verve products in celebrity swag bags distributed at the lounge-style gifting suites. Verve and Verve Zero Sugar served up a refreshing boost of energy to celebs like Nicole Kidman, Matthew McConaughey, Naomi Watts, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Kristen Bell, Jane Lynch, and others. And all-new Verve Bold, set to launch on January 30, made an exclusive sneak peek appearance.

Verve Bold Blackout Launch Parties

 
To mark this groundbreaking reveal, the official Verve Bold Blackout Party will take place on Wednesday, January 30, in the Verve Lounge at US Airways Center, as the Phoenix Suns and Verve — the Official Energy Drink of the Suns — sport black during a marquee game against the rival Los Angeles Lakers. Tip-off is at 8:30 p.m. MST, and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN. The Phoenix Suns will be debuting their Hardwood Classic throwback black jerseys, and the Verve Sol Patrol dunk team will perform.

Simultaneous launch parties will also be happening at Verve Central in Tempe and Virginia Beach, so those who can't make it to Phoenix can still enjoy the first sip of Verve Bold together during the toast at 7:30 p.m. MST and party like they're at the Verve Lounge.
